401(k) retirement Plan

Employees are automatically enrolled in Liberty Energy’s 401(k) plan through Principal upon hire.

  • 2026 IRS contribution limit: $24,500
  • Age 50+: Additional $8,000 catch-up contribution
  • Ages 60–63: Additional $11,250 super catch-up contribution
  • Employees earning over $150,000 in 2025 must make catch-up contributions as Roth after-tax contributions
  • Contribute on a pre-tax and/or Roth basis, up to IRS limits
  • Liberty Energy matches up to 6% of eligible pre-tax contributions
  • Contribution and investment changes can be made directly through Principal

The plan offers a variety of investment options, and you may make investment changes daily, subject to certain fund restrictions or fees.

  • Take up to 50% of your vested account balance
